-Animecrossroads, IN 2018 (Harley Quinn Injustice 2)- Hey~ It has been a long, long while. I recently went to Anime Crossroads (2018) and it truly kicked my lazy ass back into cosplanning mode. I will be continuing commissioning Ike for my sibling, since he had a medium difficulty of design out of the three Smashmigos. This year for Across I made a Harley Quinn from Injustice 2 cosplay for myself and it got so much positive feedback. It really boosted my confidence. Because of it's huge success, I will be also making a new Harley Quinn cosplay for myself this summer- her Arkham Knight version. Expect to see photos from my Harley photoshoot at Across posted soon. My friend who cosplayed Ivy also is in a few! I did not get that much progress photos from Harley because I hesitated greatly to enter the contest (idk why haha). Expect progress for Ike soon! I apologize for saying I would continue the Smashmigos and never updating anything after that. I have been very busy and I am slowly finding the cosplay community unbearable. I did decide on changing mine to female Roy to basically get my tits out cause unfortunately that's how to get any validation with cosplay lately. I haven't touched any of the cosplays since the last post I made. I may redo some pieces and painting- I'm not sure. I have considered altering Dark Magician Girl for Anime Crossroads 2018. I will do my best to keep my few followers updated. I would like to get back into it-it just will take some time.

So I was beginning to doubt myself, body and skills. It seems the only way to get anywhere in a cosplay community is if you have a pretty face, skinny, your breasts are out, and if you are tall. I was not exactly comfortable cosplaying much anymore, so why not do what everyone wants- make an excuse to have my breasts out cuz that seems to be the only way to get attention in the cosplay community LOL. I was also afraid my face just was too hideous to be such a sweet male character- but fluff that! So female Roy I will be! I still have no con planned because I fully intend to surpass the people that make me feel so unbelievably awful. I want to spend as much time on the three of them and try to exceed my personal skills. Wish me luck, I will keep my blog updated!! I'm in no way a professional cosplayer but I want to someday be one- so why not keep trying? No one's opinion of the cosplay should matter besides those wearing it . So as many have been seeing, I have been working on three costumes (Ike, Marth, and Roy). I knew it would be a lot of work going into it and I have almost 50% of the armor finished. I do not mind the excessive work, I just could not find the right motivation. Why- some may ask, I do not have a set deadline. I unfortunately have not come up with a good convention to display my hard work at. I considered Anime Crossroads 2018- but I feel like it just would die fast within the second day since it is such a small con. I love seeing people get so excited- enough to ask for pictures. I am considering GenCon 2017 but I feel like it might not be enough time as well as not the right convention? Even if it is a popular game, I am just not sure since GenCon is more DnD type based. I will make sure to update my followers once I decide on a convention and do my best to give these characters the effort and honor they deserve! Wish me luck.

I haven't been feeling great so I have not had the motivation to work on all three. I hope to work on them this weekend, when I get a chance to finally have time with my partner as well as enjoy life a little more. 😊

Since I have finally got the base coat down that I wanted, I plan to do more mod podge layers when I get the time and motivation (yay depression). I also need to go to a paint store and get the right blue spray paints for each one (as well as their gold/yellow details). For a quick update on Marth: I haven't done much other than cut his stuff out. Ike is still lacking shoe armor and one part of the shoulder- but I will prevail! I will make a post as soon as I add more to the Progression page.
